Η Καλλιρρόη Λινάρδου είναι επίκουρη καθηγήτρια στο Τμήμα Θεωρίας & Ιστορίας της Τέχνης της Ανωτάτης Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών με γνωστικό αντικείμενο Ιστορία Τέχνης του Βυζαντίου και του Δυτικού Μεσαίωνα. Κατέχει πτυχίο (1993) στην Αρχαιολογία από το Τμήμα Ιστορίας & Αρχαιολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων, μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών (Masters of Arts, 2000), Ύστερη Αρχαιότητα & Βυζαντινές Σπουδές, King’s College, Λονδίνο, Μεγάλη Βρετανία, και διδακτορικό (PhD, 2004), Βυζαντινή Τέχνη, Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity, Centre of Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies, University of Birmingham, Μεγάλη Βρετανία. Έχει λάβει τις ακόλουθες διακρίσεις: υπότροφος του Ιδρύματος Κρατικών Υποτροφιών (Ι.Κ.Υ.), του Ιδρύματος Α.Γ. Λεβέντη, του Arts and Humanities Research Board (A.H.R.B.) της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας, του Stanley J. Seeger Κέντρου Ελληνικών Σπουδών, Princeton. Από τον Ιούνιο του 2010 διδάσκει Ιστορία της Τέχνης του Βυζαντίου και του Δυτικού Μεσαίωνα ως μέλος ΔΕΠ στο Τμήμα Θεωρίας & Ιστορίας της Τέχνης. Από το 1994 είχε απασχοληθεί ως συμβασιούχος αρχαιολόγος πεδίου σε περιφερειακές υπηρεσίες του Υπουργείου Πολιτισμού, ενώ από το 2006 έως το 2009 είχε διδάξει ως Λέκτορας (Π.Δ. 407/1982) σε διάφορα Τμήματα Ανώτατων Εκπαιδευτικών Ιδρυμάτων της χώρας Βυζαντινή τέχνη και πολιτισμό. Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα εστιάζονται στη μελέτη των μεσαιωνικών εικονογραφημένων χειρογράφων. Στις δημοσιεύσεις της περιλαμβάνονται τα ακόλουθα:

Kallirroe (Kelly) Linardou

Kallirroe Linardou is an Assistant Professor in the History of Byzantine and Medieval Art, teaching as a faculty member in the Department of Theory & History of Art, Athens School of Fine Arts, since 2010. She is a graduate of the Department of History & Archeology, University of Ioannina (1993). Her postgraduate and doctoral studies were undertaken in Great Britain: MA in Late Antique and Byzantine Studies, King’s College, London (2000), and Ph.D. in Byzantine Art, Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity, Centre of Byzantine, Ottoman and Modern Greek Studies, University of Birmingham, Great Britain (2004). During her postgraduate studies and beyond she has been a recipient of the following scholarships and fellowships: Foundation of State Scholarships (IKY); A.G. Leventis Foundation; Arts and Humanities Research Board (A.H.R.B.) of the British Academy; Stanley J. Seeger Center of Hellenic Studies, University of Princeton. Earlier in her career she has been employed under contract as a field archeologist by the Greek Ministry of Culture. Her specialty is byzantine illustrated manuscripts and she has published variously on this topic; she is currently preparing an anthology of papers dedicated to Byzantine illustrated manuscripts (in Greek).
